DUBAI: Peshawar Zalmi won the match by 2 wickets in the last over in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 against Quetta Gladiators at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
Earlier, disciplined bowling performance by Mohammad Asghar (3/33), Wahab Riaz (2/17) and Hasan Ali (2/22) helped Peshawar Zalmi restrict Quetta Gladiators to 128 in a match of the Pakistan Super League at Dubai International Stadium on Saturday.
Kevin Pietersen (41) and Rile Rossouw (38) put up a 86-run partnership, but soon after their departure Gladiators batting line collapsed, adding only 30 runs at the expense of six wickets.
Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi captain Darren Sammy won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Peshawar Zalmi are unchanged from the previous match. Quetta, on the other hand, made two changes replacing Thisara Perera and Anwar Ali with Umar Gul and Tymal Mills.
