Pakistan beat Bangladesh in a thrilling warm-up match before Champions Trophy

BIRMINGHAM: It’s good sign that Pakistan won its warm-up match ahead of the Champions Trophy by chasing the 341 runs target set by Bangladesh.

An unbeaten knock of 64 runs off 41 deliveries by Fahim Ashraf helped Pakistan snatch a thrilling two-wicket victory over Bangladesh in a warm-up match on Saturday.
Earlier, opening batsman Tamim Iqbal chalked out a superb knock of 102 runs to bolster the Bangladesh innings.
Iqbal was associated in a 142-run stand with Imrul Kayes (61) which helped Bangladesh post a massive total of 341 for the loss of nine wickets.
The Bangladesh innings was built on some excellent batting by their middle-order. Pakistan medium pacer, Junaid Khan clinched four wickets with Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan also picking two scalps each.
