Dubai: The innovative smart technologies will be display at the 37th Gitex Technology Week, will be held on Sunday and will run till 12 October 2017.
On this futuristic event, the best technologies will be showcasing in the range of areas including augmented and virtual reality, mobility, smart government services, smart city innovations as well as the latest artificial intelligence.
This largest technology week provides an opportunity for the visitors to take a close look on the world’s first automated aerial taxis (AAT) which will be display at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) designed by the German Volocopter.
Mattar Al Tayer, director-general and chairman of the Board of Executive Directors at RTA said ,”AT Gitex, RTA would focus on the integration of the AAT with mass transport systems such as the metro, tram, buses, marine transit modes and taxis as well as the procedures of offering the AAT service to the public via the new Integrated Mobility app.”
Beside this, other services will also be showcased including Dubai Integrated Mobility Transport Platform (branded as S’hail), Smart Pedestrian Crossing Signal, Dubai Drive App and Customers Loyalty Points Programme (Nol Plus).
At GITEX, Smart Dubai will bring more than 200 smart services and solutions, bringing together partners from public and private sectors. The aim of Smart Dubai is to make the smart and happiest city on the earth.
At the event, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) will also present its outstanding portfolio of advanced technical services and solutions such as ClinicalKey, an efficient and easy access to the latest clinical information based on research and evidences from patients’ conditions.
At the event, hundreds of startups, entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, and investors will gather for one of the most anticipated tech events in the region.
