Art Park new attraction at Dubai Garden Glow Season 4

Dubai Garden Glow, the popular family entertainment attraction in Zabeel Park, entered its fourth season on Sunday, adding a fourth attraction. The four magical themes in Garden Glow this year include the Ice Park, the Glow Park, the Dinosaur Park and the newly added Art Park, set up using about 500,000 different types of recyclable glass, porcelain, plastic bottles and dishes and 1,000 CDs. It took 60 days for 200 artists from around the world to install the unique art in the Art Park that displays installations of Big Bull, Colorful Swan, King Cobra and Panda made up of tiny glass bottles and Camels done with CDs.

Through its last three seasons, Dubai Garden Glow has positioned itself as one of the world’s largest unique theme parks and Dubai’s popular family destination,” said Mohammed Mubarak Al Mutaiwei, CEO of Dubai Municipality for Business Development Sector.

“Garden Glow is a unique example of Dubai Municipality’s collaboration with private sector through projects aimed at providing an unforgettable experience for the whole family, using advanced technology, innovation and creativity,” he said.

Al Mutaiwei said Dubai Garden Glow, which has added a new attraction this year, is an embodiment of Dubai’s commitment towards providing continuously innovative recreation to its residents and visitors of all ages and nationalities in a safe, secure and eco-friendly environment, using the best technology and talent the world has to offer.

The main theme of the Glow Park this year is the Glowing Safari giving a real thrill of Safari with glowing animals all around. Other attractions in the Glow Park include the Flower Valley, Glittering Butterfly trail, Happy Forest, Peacock Tunnel, Big Rabbit, Happiness Tree, Happiness Street, Lady Butterfly, Mosquito Family, Lizard Family, Fish Tunnel, in addition to the City of Happiness having a long stretch of 60-70 Hearts and the Flavors of Arabia, which includes a giant traditional teapot. The Glow Park has handmade structures, illuminated with about ten million LED lights and yards of recycled luminous fabric. It has been created by 500 artists from around the world, taking 100 days.

The largest Ice Park in the region, which displays a frozen Glowing Safari, contains elegantly crafted ice sculptures using about 5,000 tons of ice carved by 150 artists from around the world, including from Russia. The Ice Park has been designed around the theme of global warming and packs an array of unique, illuminated ice sculptures at a temperature that is set at – 8 °C, a chill experience and a welcoming cool break after the scorching summer.

In addition to the Art, Ice and Glow parks, the popular attraction from previous years, the Dinosaur Park will display this year more than 100 animatronic Dinosaurs with new installations and additions. It also features Dinosaur Lab that showcases the birth of baby dinosaurs and a Dinosaur Museum, which displays replica of dinosaur skeletons. The park also displays how the dinosaurs got extinct and how the era ended. The park also has a moving dinosaur, riding dinosaurs, and lots more.

The entry fee for Dubai Garden Glow is Dhs65 including VAT. However, there is a separate entrance fee of Dhs45 to enjoy the Ice Park, where visitors will be provided special jackets to keep them warm in the low temperature inside. Dubai Garden Glow, located at Gate No.6 of Zaabeel Park, is open from 4pm to 12am.
