The courier company wins big clients, daily shipments poised for rapid growth

Gulf Pinnacle Logistics (GPL), an emerging UAE-based logistics powerhouse, has heavily invested in the rebranding of its newly acquired company, Century Express – a Dubai-based courier service provider.

“We are delighted to announce that Century Express has been completely revamped with a new brighter logo, a more modern and interactive website, a rebranded fleet, a larger warehouse & office space and in the process of launching a customer-friendly mobile App,” said Shailesh Dash, Chairman of Gulf Pinnacle Logistics.

As a result, daily shipments of Century Express increased rapidly since our acquisition and are poised for solid and sustainable growth. Our business strategy has allowed us to capitalise on the growth in the e-commerce market in the region.”

The new slogan of Century Express ‘life uninterrupted’ is the commitment that the company promises its clients, to manage their deliveries within the committed time or on time without disrupting their busy schedule. Such a commitment has improved the efficiency of its fleet and service levels from 75% to 93%.

Century Express has moved to a newer and larger location in Dubai to better handle growing business needs. The company has further invested in new vehicles and bikes to expand its domestic geographic coverage. Additionally, the company invested in bringing in new management, expanded its sales force, reinforced its IT team and further supported its operational and client servicing staff.

Century Express recognises the need to provide a seamless and quick service to its customers with enhanced visibility of information. Today, a shipper can get an instant quote for domestic and international deliveries for light and heavy-weight parcels through the company’s revamped website. The company has also launched Cash on Delivery services into Oman earlier this year and plans are afoot to also launch this service into other GCC countries in the coming months.
