Dubai: All paid parking zones in Dubai have been declared free for the residents on the occasion of Israa Wall Meraj holiday. This year Israa Wal Meraj holiday falls on Sunday, April 23.
In its statement the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has said: “All paid parking zones in Dubai will be free on Sunday with the exception of multi-level parking lots and the Fish Market parking area. Paid parking fees will be reactivated on Monday April 24.”
All customers’ happiness centres will also remain closed during the holiday and will resume work on Monday, according to the RTA statement.
Last week, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced that Sunday will be an official holiday for ministries and other Federal Authorities, with work resuming the following day on Monday, April 24, 2017.
