Pakistani musician Wajahat Attre dies

LAHORE: Veteran Pakistani musician Wajahat Attre died of cardiac arrest at a hospital on Friday.
He was shifted to Jinnah Hospital in emergency condition last week sue to cardiac arrest which caused him breathe his last today.
Sources close to family said that the artist was suffering from paralysis and heart disease from past few months.
Wajahat Attre started his musical career from film ‘Paristan’ while his compositions in super hit movies like Mukhra, Naukar Wohti Da and Ishq Khuda were also liked by the viewers.
Wajahat Attre has given music to more than 200 Pakistani films whereas he has also composed songs of Madam Noor Jahan.
He was the son of legendary music composer Rasheed Attre (Late) who also served film industry in an unforgettable way.
The corpse of Wajahat Attre has been shifted to his ancestral house located in Shabab Chowk of Samanabad where his funeral prayers will be offered.
