Dubai – Gulf Pinnacle Transport (GPT), one of the leading school bus transport providers in the UAE, has posted significant growth in its first year of operations. GPT’s humble beginning was with three school contracts in Dubai and today the company serves 12 satisfied schools across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, which is an unprecedented achievement in the very first year of operations. The company, however, expects to maintain this growth trend for the years to come.

“We see an enormous potential in school bus transport business and that’s the reason we established Gulf Pinnacle Transport last year with a team of experienced professionals and a new fleet of buses after an in-depth study of the school bus transportation industry in the Emirates,” said Shailesh Dash, Chairman of Gulf Pinnacle Logistics – the parent company of Gulf Pinnacle Transport.

The number of school buses registered in Dubai is 6,500 and the figure is likely to go up. The Road and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai, hopes 7,628 buses would be required by the year 2020 and 14,455 by 2030.

Dubai’s school transport witnessed a rapid growth where school transport trips exceeded 81,000 per hour in 2016 and are set to reach 115,000 trips per hour by 2020, and 176,000 trips per hour by 2030, according to RTA.

There are very limited quality operators in school transport business in Dubai, and the market needs quality school transport operators like Gulf Pinnacle Transport.

Gulf Pinnacle Logistics launched Gulf Pinnacle Transport in August 2016 with a fleet of 25 buses and transport contract of three schools, the Chairman said, adding: “Now we have 215 buses and the number of schools also have grown to 12 schools in a short span of time. We are proud that we have gained the trust of the parents by providing quality and safe transportation services to their children.”

Ganesh Sivaraman, Senior Vice President, Gulf Pinnacle Transport, said: “Safety of children is our top priority and we safely transport nearly 6,000 students every day. We recognise that every child matters to the school and safety is for every passenger. We have the ability to positively impact each student’s day, so they arrive at school ready to learn and be inspired. It’s something we’re committed to doing every single day.”

GPT is strongly committed towards providing quality transportation by maintaining the highest level of safety, outstanding customer service and positive employee relations, he said, adding: “We take great pride in bringing international best practices and technology to support educational institutes in the UAE by making sure children have safe, comfortable and reliable transportation to the School and back home.”

“As an upcoming school transportation solutions provider in the UAE, GPT understands the value in leveraging our best practices, technologies, and processes to deliver quality transportation solutions. What sets us apart is our desire to build close, trusted partnerships with the schools we serve,” he concluded.
