Huawei adds celebrated Arabic music to its MENA Music Streaming Service

Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG), recently launched its own Music Streaming Service across five markets in the MENA region that include the UAE, KSA, Egypt, Iraq and Jordan. There are plans to gradually expand it to more countries in the region. Huawei Music Service is an official free Music store pre-installed in all Huawei devices with operating system EMUI 5.0, 5.1, 8.0 and 8.1 with no commercial interruptions. As a first milestone, Huawei Music Service is exclusively adding one of the latest and beautiful songs of renowned Arab singer Elissa – “Al Makhfi”, to its music library for all Huawei users until July 25.

“We are delighted to launch Huawei Music Service for our MENA users. We aim to bring the latest and the best music experience to customers in the MENA region. The new service offers a fun, user-friendly and seamless music streaming service, allowing listeners to enjoy free high-quality music conveniently on their smartphones,” Justin Chen, Managing Director of Huawei MENA Consumer Cloud Service Dept said.
In addition to this exclusive song, Elissa has also recorded 15 songs that will be launched on Huawei Music Service on 26th July. The library will also include the late singer and actress Warda Al – Jazairia’s song “Wahashtony” for the one and only “Baligh Hamdy”. For the new albums, she has cooperated with several poets and composers including Amir Teima, Ramy Gamal, Nader Abdallah and Walid Said.
Keeping on top of regional music trends and taste, Huawei Music Service has partnered with Rotana, the leading Arabic Music content provider in the region, offering music from top and famous singers MENA market like Mohammad Abdo, Majid Al Muhandis, Elissa, Angham Wael Kfoury, Hatem Al Iraqi and more.
In addition to Rotana music, Huawei music has partnered with top local and international content providers such as Qanawat and Mazzika, to facilitate regional and international music collection for the region’s music enthusiast, which will bring famous international singers and master masterpiece songs to the user in the coming months. -abdulbasit@theuaenews.com
