The UAE News report: During the year 2020 in the UAE 3,184 people converted to Islam, it was announced by the Mohammad bin Rashid Centre for Islamic Culture in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement mentioned that all the requests for conversion to Islam were received online amid the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19) outbreak.
Hind Mohammed Lootah, the Director of the Centre, said the institution would continue to deliver the right message about Islam, and spread its lofty principles among different communities and faiths living in Dubai.
The Centre is in constant touch with new converts to Islam and provides them with various services such as religious, social, cultural and educational. The Centre receives online requests for conversion on its website www.iacad.gov.ae, or via the free-toll number 800600.
