The UAE News web report: The Sharjah Municipality has made it mandatory for the workers of the food establishments in the Emirate to take a PCR Covid-19 test every two weeks, it is announced on Wednesday.

Fully vaccinated workers are exempted from the requirement.

It said stickers must be displayed at eateries and other establishments to show that the workers have taken the vaccine or have a negative PCR test result.

The Sharjah City Municipality has intensified inspection visits to food establishments to ensure their compliance with Covid safety measures.

Tables must be placed at least two metres apart and no more than four people are allowed at a table.
