The UAE News web report: Scammers are using new tactics for getting card details and withdrawing cash.

In this regard, the Ajman Police have warned residents about the new fraud that sees bogus websites offer ‘food’ and a payment getaway. Scammers use card details entered by residents to withdraw their cash, said the police.

It is mentioned that often, residents are directed to these fake websites via social media.

The Police urged residents to make sure they are on legitimate websites of restaurants before placing orders and entering their card details.”Be careful and don’t lose your money by ordering a meal from a fake website,” the police said.
