The UAE News report: Al Bandar Rotana, a five-star hotel with a prime waterfront outlook, recorded an 80% occupancy rate in the first half of 2021.

Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager, Al Bandar Rotana and Arjaan by Rotana, said that in the last two months the property witnessed around 90% occupancy.

“The summer months look promising and we are upbeat to see the level of occupancy even better than before the pandemic,” Ashor added.

He mentioned that they feel proud for being based and serving in Dubai. “The Emirate has led the way in global tourism recovery despite the challenging times the world has faced due to Covid-19,” he said.

“While the whole world was stuck trying to figure out how to save their tourism industry, Dubai successfully managed to draw its way up and has shown great recovery far beyond major cities like Paris & London,” Ashor added.

“The ratio of vaccinated nationals and residents has given tourists confident feeling to visit Dubai and boosted the Emirate’s credentials as one of the top destinations for tourists from around the world. It also underscored Dubai’s commitment when it comes to the health and safety of residents as well as visitors.”

“Dubai has managed to diversify demand and created new markets towards the city.”

“Dubai is close to host Expo 2020 in October this year and other countries are easing up the restrictions, we are looking forward to an amazing last quarter of the year.
