The UAE News report: There will be so many choices in the UAE to welcome the new year and most of them will be in Dubai. There will be around 33 fireworks shows to ring in the New Year 2021 in the country. Below is the complete details and list:
There will be 23 fireworks shows in Dubai: Fireworks are set to light up the entire city at the stroke of midnight with dazzling colours and laser shows.
The fireworks displays can be watched at 23 different locations: Burj Khalifa; Burj Al Arab; Madinat Jumeirah; Dubai Festival City Mall; Global Village; La Mer; Dubai Frame; Jumeirah Beach Residence – The Beach; Al Seef – Dubai Creek; Nshama Town Square; Bab Al Shams Desert Resort; Le Royal Meridien Resort; Bvlgari Resort Dubai; Golf Club – Arabian Ranches; Emirates Golf Club; The Address Montgomery Hotel; Jebel Ali Hotel; Four Seasons Hotel; The One & Only Hotel – Palm Jumeirah; The One & Only – Royal Mirage; Atlantis The Palm; Jumeirah Zabeel Saray; Park Hyatt Dubai.
In Abu Dhabi fireworks shows will be at four places: The Sheikh Zayed Festival in Al Wathba will host a 35-minute fireworks show that is set to smash two world records. Yas Island will host its own show. The Abu Dhabi Corniche show will see fireworks light up a 1.2km stretch for five minutes. Al Maryah Island, too, will bask in the glow of a grand show.
People in RAK will enjoy a 10-minute show: A 10-minute fireworks show over a 4km stretch will light up Ras Al Khaimah as it rings in the new year. Fireworks in various shapes and themes will rise above the sea near Al Marjan Island.
Hotels in Al Hamra Village and Al Marjan Island will feature dedicated viewing areas, while public viewing ones will be closed as a Covid safety measure. Ajman will offer two options: Ajman is organising two five-minute fireworks shows at midnight on December 31. The spectacular fireworks will be launched from two locations — one at Ajman Corniche, opposite Ajman Saray; and the other near the Oberoi Beach Resort at Al Zorah.
