The UAE News Report: Tetr College of Business, a first-of-its-kind global B-school where students learn business by building real businesses, has welcomed its third undergraduate cohort, bringing together 300 students from 60 countries as they begin their global, eight-term program in India, before heading to Dubai as the next stop in their journey.
Over the next four years, this cohort will travel across seven countries, including India, Dubai, China, Ghana, the U.S., Argentina and Europe, building a new business from the ground up in each market and learning to navigate the industries, customers and opportunities unique to it. With three cohorts now underway, Tetr College is building a global community of high-calibre young talent, giving them the scale, exposure and real-world experience to think beyond borders and build for a global economy.
The class of 2030 brings a strong academic profile alongside a wide range of experiences and interests, with an average SAT score of 1440. The cohort represents a diversity of backgrounds, disciplines and perspectives, with students representing fields such as entrepreneurship, finance and management, design, engineering, law, computer science, AI and the sciences, and collectively speaking more than 18 languages. The class also reflects a distinctly global mix, with Asia-Pacific accounting for 45.2% of the cohort, followed by the Americas at 27.4%, Europe at 13.4%, the Middle East at 5.8% and Africa at 4.1%. The cohort also includes students from East Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, the Caribbean and Oceania, bringing together perspectives from diverse markets and cultures.
The incoming class stands out for its strong track record of achievement across entrepreneurship, innovation, social impact and the creative industries. Patryk McGlynn from the U.S. is the Founder and CEO of Plenova Tech, building AI automation solutions for 11 active clients. Franco Arturo Canseco Rodriguez from Mexico has patented his sleep technology, Neutónica, and taken it to Shark Tank México and CES Las Vegas. Ludwig Flesch from Germany has led a fundraising initiative that funded two prosthetic legs, while Sachi Sato from Japan has co-founded an upcycling venture that has transformed more than 600 kg of discarded kimonos into new products.
The UAE contingent brings together students with strong entrepreneurial, leadership and innovation credentials, many of whom have already built businesses, led initiatives and competed on international platforms. Angel Tejas Sanghavi has worked across entrepreneurship, student advocacy and business, raised AED 170K through Project Teranga, and organised TEDxGNMS with more than 150 attendees and 10 speakers. Reyaansh N Dugad, an assistive technology entrepreneur and award winner, has published research on assistive technology and served as President of the Bronze World Economics Cup UAE, leading an inter-school entrepreneurship competition with more than 500 participants and securing $8,000 in sponsorships. Shabbir Jethajiwala, co-manager of a lifestyle media platform with more than 65,000 followers, has worked on brand collaborations and emerging technology initiatives, and won a Netflix strategy pitch. Sumanth Mahesh Kumar, an award winner, has demonstrated strong academic and extracurricular achievement, including the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.
