The first day of the 25th edition of the Gulfood 2020 was a busy day at Al Maya Group’s stand at the region’s longest-running annual F&B trade exhibition.
Kamal Vachani, Group Director of Dubai-based Al Maya Group, on Sunday welcomed ministers and ambassadors of different countries at the silver jubilee edition of the region’s premier food and beverage show at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate and Environment, United Arab Emirates and Saed Al Awadi, CEO, Dubai Exports visited Al Maya stand at Gulfood 2020 on the first day.

The Minister of Food Processing Industries, Government of India, Mrs. Harsimrat Kaur Bada, also visited Al Maya Stand at Gulfood 2020 on the first day.
“During the visit to our stand we apprised the Minister about Al Maya Group’s activities, and she is very much impressed in promoting India’s FMCG products in the UAE and the region,” said Kamal Vachani, Group Director of Al Maya Group.
Mr. Kamal Vachani also received Mr. Ludovic Pouille, Ambassador, Embassy of France, Abu Dhabi, at Al Maya stand at Gulfood 2020.

Vice Minister, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Tran Thanh Nam also visited Al Maya stand at Gulfood and received by Mr. Kamal Vachani. “We discussed the opportunities between Al Maya Group and Vietnamese companies into the UAE and the region,” said Mr. Vachani.

This year, Al Maya Group is showcasing its new specialties and a variety of products in FMCG (fast-moving consumer goods) category.
The Group looks forward to meeting industry specialists and explore new partnerships for the Group’s exponential growth in the UAE and other parts of the Gulf region. The Gulfood will run from 16 – 20 February at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC).
