Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah organises Taekwondo ‘Belt Promotion Ceremony’

The UAE News report: The Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah has organised a ‘Belt Promotion Test Ceremony’ for Taekwondo students in the presence of top officials of Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah as well as officials of UAE Taekwondo Federation.

Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah UAE’s Head Master Salman Shakil Sheikh appreciated the continuous support of Pakistan Taekwondo Federation’s President Mr. Lt. Colonel Raja Wasim Ahmed (R) and UAE Taekwondo Federation to promote Taekwondo and Para-Taekwondo not only in the UAE and Pakistan but also across the globe.

The ‘Belt Promotion Test Ceremony’ ceremony was attended by President of Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah Khalid Hussain Chaudhry, General Secretary Chaudhry Iftikhar Ahmed, President PUJF Sajjad Akbar Khan, Vice President PUJF Imran Khan Yusuf Zai, President women wing APML Farzana Mansoor, Grand Master Zeyad Hammad Abu Zahieh, UAE Taekwondo Federation / Technical Committee Member Kukkiwon Advisory Committee Member / World Taekwondo HQ. Master Santosh Kumar Official Referee.

Students at the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah were also rewarded with certificates and medals on their great performances in the recent virtual Taekwondo events.

Master Salman Shakil Sheikh is the Head Coach at the Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah. Mr. Sheikh is also International and National Referee and Coach of PSCS International Schools of Taekwondo Association Pakistan and UAE, UAE Taekwondo Federation’s, and Pakistan Taekwondo Federation.

Grand Master Zeyad Hammad Abu Zahieh gives the tips to the athletes and coaches about techniques.

Mr. Sheikh awarded belts and medals to the athletes. The event was held with limited guests due to Covid-19 pandemic with proper SOPs.

Barkha Ramesh Kolhi from Sindh Pakistan received her KUKKIWON CERTIFICATIONS under the umbrella of Pakistan Social Centre Sharjah, UAE. She is an International Silver Medalist from Ecuador and qualified Taekwondo coach from Arab Taekwondo Union.

Athlete Sarah Salman Sheikh, from Pakistan, promoted to Senior Red Belt. She also had achieved International Gold Medal Sri Lanka World Martial Arts Organization Championship, Silver Medal in Mexican Taekwondo poomsae Championship, Silver Medal, Venezuela International Taekwondo Championships Kyorugi and poomsae.

Another athlete Brahmudath Binu Raj from India promoted to Red Belt. Raj was also attained International Silver Medallist in Mexican Taekwondo Championship, Silver Medallist in WMDO SRI LANKA, Bronze medallist in Venezuela International Taekwondo Championships.

Huzaifa Anjum from Pakistan Blue Belt. He also received International silver medallist in Mexican Taekwondo Championship, International Silver Medallist in WMDO Sri Lanka and bronze Medallist in Venezuela International Taekwondo Championships.

Shiza Salman Sheikh from Pakistan prompted to  senior green belt. She had received International Gold Medallist WMDO open Champion Sri LANKA, international Silver Medallist Mexico Taekwondo International championship, bronze medal in Venezuela International Taekwondo Championships Kyorugi and poomsae.

Rethvik Vineeth, from India, promoted to senior green belt. Rethvik was rewarded with International Gold Medallist in Venezuela International Taekwondo Championships, Silver Medallist in Mexican Taekwondo Championship and Silver medallist in WMDO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP Sri Lanka.

Fatima Aleena from India promoted to senior Yellow Belt. Fatima also received International Silver Medallist Venezuela International Taekwondo Championship, Silver Medallist Mexico Taekwondo championship and Silver medallist WMDO International open Championship.

Adinath Adarsh, from India promoted Senior Yellow belt, Juan G. Jiby, Nathan G. Jiby, Sreevin Vinod, Diya Vinod, Anna Mary Vijo, Daveedh Antony Vijo youngest Taekwondo athletes from India  from promoted to Yellow  PSCS was present in test and got medal as best athletes.
