The World Expo2020 Dubai will boost the occupancy rate of Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana as the enquiries have already started coming for the 6-month mega event, which will be hosted by Dubai for the first time in the Middle East next October.

This was shared by Ayman Ashor, Cluster General Manager, Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana, during a media roundtable with select senior journalists from the UAE.

Responding to a question, Ashor said nowadays people plans early for big events and Expo2020 Dubai is a mega event that’s the reason they have started searching for hotels to grab the best prices and availability as well. Prices will go up near the exhibition date, he added.

“With less than one year before Expo 2020, we are certain that the hospitality sector will continue witnessing growth to meet the rising demand of all expected visitors flying from over 190 countries.”

Ayman Ashor, an accomplished hotelier with more than 25 years of experience, was recently appointed to be at the helm of the two hotels – Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana. With his new role, Ashor will oversee the operations of 280 luxurious rooms and suites while ensuring and maintaining the highest quality of services and guest satisfaction.

Away from traffic and in close proximity to major attractions and landmarks in the city, including Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Trade Centre, Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana, which perfectly blend luxury and comfort, and feature state-of-the-art meeting and conference facilities and dining lounges, make an ideal destination for both business and leisure travellers.

“Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana are two of Rotana’s newest and most iconic hotels in the region. The five-star hotel and the fully furnished apartments have been attracting a tremendous number of visitors from around the world and mainly from Saudi Arabia, the GCC and EU with guest satisfaction rate of 92%. Due to technology and social media, guests are becoming more sensitive to prices and services, and 40% of the millennials make hotel decision based on how Instagramable a view from the hotel is, and fortunately, we have the most Instagramable view along with the infinity pool, ” said Ashor.

“At Al Bandar Rotana and Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana, we strive to deliver only the best to our local and international clienteles, and we look forward to welcoming Expo visitors at our premises very soon. We are preparing extensively for the most anticipated global event in 2020 as we recently agreed with Expo 2020 to have free shuttle buses for all guests staying at our hotel to be dropped and picked off from the closest metro station to Dubai South.”
Today we are on the brink of a full house occupancy at the hotel with 90% occupancy rate that is expected to reach 100% with the upcoming Expo 2020. We’ve already started accepting enquiries from guests who are planning their Expo 2020 visit ahead of time”, he concluded. – abdulbasit@theuaenews.com
